How do i use sony service tag

Hello,
I need to know the model number of a Sony Vaio laptop.
I only have the Sony Service Tag number. I can't find anywhere to use the Service Tag to reference the model number.
Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

Doesn't your VIAO have a ID label like this Sony label?

Check and see if the
Sony Support site Auto Detect option gets you your model number.
