Hi all,
I was wondering how I would go about using my GPU (RTX3000) for computing large amounts of data. The GPU is available in the device manager and I have added the programs (Geneious Prime) that I would like to run on the GPU listed in the graphics settings but when I attempt to run a small alignment process of 18x 30kb (kilobase) sequences (my goal is to reach >10,000x 30kb sequences) I'm not seeing activity. I've seen suggestions about changing memory allocation in the BIOs from the CPU to GPU but want to make sure there isn't something else I can try before changing anything. If I do need to adjust memory allocation, how much should I allocate to reach the processing goal I am interested in?
Best,
