The Asus he linked to, once you have Google translate it, says it has a GeForce GT 635, not integrated graphics.

Hi :)

This is very basic....

To Play BF3 at all you will NEED a dedicated graphics card in the Laptop NOT integrated...

Also forget Manufacturers battery figures..... playing BF3 on battery you will be lucky to get 2 hours on most modern lappies...

All the best Brett :)

1300$?

I spent 600$ and play maxed ultra.

You only need a 2500k or 3570k with a gtx 570 to get 60 fps

None. i7 means nothing to gaming. The GPU is everything, and that has a god awful one.

For a beginner gamer i would suggest that you get an MSI GE60 (around $939-$999) you can get one with an I7 3610/3630qm and GT 650m/660m

YOU NEED A DISCRETE GRAPHICS CARD to play modern day games at nice fps.
Always go for nVidia 630+ (Or 540+)
and go for Radeon 67XX+ or 77XX+
The laptop you listed is overpriced about $250 for its specs
