How is Alienware M18x r2 and the new Alienware 18?

I really want a 18" laptop so Alienware is my only option. For those of you who have used Alienware and other brand laptop before, how is Alienware quality compared to others? I am also considering between the old M18x r2 and the new 18， any suggestions?
