How is the Lenovo y50 for gaming?

Hello,

I recently had a y510p with the sli feature but had to send it back because it overheated. Currently i'm looking at the y50 and it looks interesting to me.

I am thinking about getting the y50, i7, NVIDIA GTX 860m (4 gigs), and 8 gigs of RAM. Will this laptop outperform the y510p which was i7, 755m sli (2 gigs), and 16 gigs of RAM?

Also will the y50 be able to play some of the new gen games on at least medium settings? i am going to be on the move a lot so a desktop or a console aren't good options (college)

Some people say the screen sucks for the y50...so any comments on that statement would be appreciated.

Basically a general outline that compares the y510p vs the y50 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Performance is about the same, however, you will have less weight and better battery life with y50
