Ok so I'm going to the Bahamas in two weeks and its a 3 hour flight and wanted to know if a laptop could play shogun 2 total war for about that amount of time or how long do you think a battery would last playing a game like that

Knowing the specs of the laptop tells us nothing about the condition of the battery. In the same laptop, Battery A may last 30 minutes, while Battery B may last 4 hours.

The only real way to tell with that laptop and that battery is to simply try it.
