How long can the Nikon D5200 record on a single charge?

Solution
Are you asking about pictures or video? Battery life will depend on a number of variable such as the mode you shoot in.

Pictures:
"Energy-saving design that achieves approx. 500 shots* per charge (with EN-EL14, in single-frame mode). ...more
*Based on CIPA Standards."

Video (not stated how long on a single charge):
Maximum length: 29 min. 59 s (3 min. in miniature effect mode)

If you're asking about video, most DSLR cameras will only record 30~45min on a single battery, with limits of either 30min or 4GB (~15min for 1080p, some SDXC ones support larger, some SDHC ones allow multiple 4GB files, but even then you have a UK/EU mandated 30min limit even outside those countries). If you can get video working without the screen (close screen), you might be able to get a fair bit more, but you should consider multiple additional batteries if video is your target.

I once recorded a theatre performance that lasted for an hour and a bit.

By the end, my SD card had 3 minutes left (I was recording 1080p 24fps), and the battery died 5 minutes later.
This was with 20 min start-stop.

My answer: 1 hour 15 minutes
