I wanted a light gaming laptop for indie games, programming in python, blender, and rts

So I came up with 2 solutions

Buy this

http://store.acer.com/store/acerna/en_US/pd/productID.267354500/parentCategoryID.60766600/

Or buy this and change it to an a10 in the future

My parents will freak out if I buy an gaming laptop for 1k and I already have a ps3 =D

Thanks

The ASUS one should be OK for ya. If u want programming better get a i3/i5-3xxxM laptop, Inter's laptop has stronger CPU performance. (Your game is light enough, nearly every entry-level laptop can run it smoothly)

Thanks guys

I did consider intel computers within my price range but the amd's had better graphics and it seemed like they could be changed if I wanted to.

Intel and NVidia cards can sometimes be changed in certain laptops too. It just depends on the socket of the CPU and the OEM.
