how long is too long for gaming on laptop.

Assalamwalaikum, Peace be upon you all .. i just bough a Dell n5520 laptop with i7 3rd gen, 8 gb ram, 1gb AMD 7670 graphics card and 1000 gb HD. its a nice laptop and games like farcry 3 and Bioshock infinite are running fine on medium settings. Though I haven't started proper gaming on it yet because this is the first time I am playing such high end games on a laptop and am a bit skeptical about heating issues.... I would like to know how long is too long for a single session of high end gaming on this laptop? Thankyou.

P.S. local temps are around 31 C nowadays and are gonna go up to 35-38 i guess. CPU temps while I am browsing are 49-52 C. Cant say much about GPU temps cause I haven't played games yet.

You'll have to check the temps while playing the games. Usually laptop components can take some more heat than desktop components.

Besides, modern components will either clock themselves down or turn off when getting too hot.

16 hours I was talking about 2-2.5 hours at max maybe and then give it some break.. is it fine? :|

2-2.5 hours is fine. Even longer gaming sessions are no problem.

its fine, if the temperatures go over 90 degrees then I would definitely get a cooling pad.

I have a cooling pad, logitech n120. But, I don't think its gonna help much with that tiny fan. I think I am gonna need a better one then.
