How much is my Toshiba laptop worth?

I would like to sell my current laptop in order to save for a new one and I was wondering how much it is worth.

It is a Toshiba Satellite P755-S5274 15.6-Inch LED Laptop.

Specs:

- 15.6 inch screen
- 1366 x 768 Max Resolution
- 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 Processor
- 6 GB DDR3 RAM
- 1333 MHz Memory Speed
- 600 GB HDD 5400 RPM
- Integrated Mobile Intel HD Graphics
- 3 2.0 USB Ports; 1 3.0 USB Port
- CD R/RW DVD Drive
- Webcam

This is a 2011 model and everything is in perfectly fine condition. There is nothing wrong cosmetically and battery life is still really good (up to 3 hours on one charge). Also, I have never sold a laptop before so where would I get the best deal? Ebay? Craigslist? Thanks in advance!!

Laptops depreciates pretty quickly especially when new models are released. The ASUS A55 Series A55A-NB51 sells for $529.

It's new with a 1 year warranty. The CPU is not only 200MHz faster, each 1MHz have an average of 6% performance increase over the previous generation Core i5 CPU. The Intel HD 4000 is about 35% - 40% more powerful than the older HD 3000 making it better able to play games.

Based on the above, I value your laptop at no more than $350 at best. If you are looking to sell it on Ebay, then consider pricing it at $200 to start, then place a reserve on the laptop (probably costs extra $) which gives you the option to not sell the laptop to the highest bidder if you think that bid is too low for your liking.
