how much should i sell my laptop?

hey guys

i own a lenovo z570 that i'm willing to sell to a friend
it was manufactured back in late 2010

specs:
i5 2410m quad core @ 2.3 Ghz 3MB cash
4gb ram ddr3
intel hd 3000 integrated
nvidia gt 520m 1gb dedicated
750 gb HDD 5400 RPM
720p lcd screen which is working just fine

the laptop has some minor scratches on the touchpad buttons but it doesn't affect it's performance
battery condition is 1h light usage and only 20 mins on high load
upgraded to win 10
the dvd doesn't work

could u guys tell me an estimated price for this laptop?

Rule of Thumb - Take your build cost and then subtract 10% .... then 5% for each month of age for 6 months (60% value at this point) ... then 10% for every 6 months thereafter.

0.5 year old - 60% of build cost
1.0 - 50%
1.5 - 40%
2.0 - 30%
2.5 - 20%
3.0 - 10%

It's 6 years old ... OS Upgrade hurts as it will have slowed it down, unwanted by most and puts you way way outside of any support possibilities. Best bet would to donate it and get the tax deduction.
