How much will it cost to repair a windows 8 Surface tablet

My tablet is cracked all over the screen and its stuck on the start up screen. Help Please.!

All Surface tablets have a 1-year warranty.

Unfortunately, Microsoft refuses to honor their warranties on Surfaces with cracked screens. Unless Congress passes the "arrest the shareholders act of 2014" there will be no warranty repair. (I made up that bill...it does not really exist.)

On the upside, after Microsoft was the subject of several criminal investigations, they agreed that people like You could buy their extended / accidental damage warranty (Microsoft Complete) after their Surfaces were damaged.

It's still not Gates & Balmer in prison, but it is something. The exact price will depend on the unit You got suckered into buying.
