How should I keep my system free from unwanted alerts and technical support pop ups?

I am facing a lot of problems due to pop ups ads. Whenever i visit a website an annoying add displaying " Your system is infected with viruses" on my computer screen. I have tried to remove it but was unable to do. Please suggest me some tips to keep my system free from all such annoying ads.

Do a scan with an anti-malware. Anti malware bytes, for example.

First you need to do scan with malware bytes antimalware and then you need to scan your computer with hitman pro. it will remove all kind of pop ups from your computer and your computer will be virus free.
