I have a F&D F3000U surround sound multimedia speaker with pro logic and I want to connect it to my PC having a motherboard of MSI H77MA-G43 which supports up to 8-channel audio with jack sensing and a Realtek® ALC892 chipset.
My speakers has two inputs mainly DVD(5.1 Ch) and AUX (http/postimg.org/image/oq3l8n62d/)
and my motherboard has all the needed jacks (http/postimg.org/image/aeygx1zif/)
I tried connecting the AUX input into my PC with pro logic turned on. If the sound mode in Realtek is turned to Stereo, all the speakers work but they all play the same sound but when I turn it to 5.1 mode, only the particular output which is connected (Front, Rear or Center/Subwoofer) worked which is mirrored to all the speakers.
Because the three cables provided for the DVD (5.1 ch) input were all RCA at both ends, I can't connect it to my pc so I bought three 3.5 mm headphones jack with RCA jack at the other end to connect the input from the DVD (5.1 ch) to the output in my pc but it does not seem to play any sounds when connected in either of the two sound modes.
the cable jack I bought (http/postimg.org/image/639d14jmj/)
the one included in the speaker set for AUX (http/postimg.org/image/pvt42w9ft/)
the three included in the speaker set for DVD (5.1) (http/postimg.org/image/wnrr6y2tb/)
the cable I bought (left) compared to cable provided for AUX (right) (http/postimg.org/image/xz5zm6w21/)
details of my motherboard (http/www.msi.com/product/mb/H77MAG43.html#/?div=Basic)
details of my speakers (http/www.fendaaudio.com/51_speakers/f3000u.html)
I want to know if am I missing something or if I'm using the wrong cable.
Please help cause I have been searching the web for possible solutions for quite some time now.
I want to experience true surround sound on my PC
