If you want to be known by your nickname instead of your regular one and have created a Google+ account, you can add a nickname to your account. When you add a nickname to your Google+ profile, it becomes visible to all of the people who have added you in their Google+ circles.
By default, no nickname is added to your Google + profile, and the Google+ profile setup process does not ask you to add one. However, once you have successfully created your profile on Google+, you can follow the instructions given below to add a nickname to your account:

- ■Turn on your computer system.
■Open your favorite web browser.
■On the opened interface, open Google+ by typing plus.google.com in the address bar, and press Enter.
■Once Google+ opens up, provide the login credentials in the appropriate fields, and click Sign in.

■On the Home page, hover mouse on the Home button at the top-right corner.
■From the displayed menu, click the Profile option.


■On the Profile window, click your user name under the profile picture.

■On the Edit your name pop up box, click More options (button with ‘+’ sign).

■From the expanded options, type your desired nickname in the Nickname field.
10. Once done, click Save from the bottom-right corner to apply the changes.
