How to add spell check to Galaxy J1

Just got a Galaxy J1 for cheap. No spell check on board. How do I add a spell checker?

Are you sure? Most keyboard apps come with spell check; I know that the default keyboards that ship with Samsung phones (Swype, Samsung Keyboard, Google Keyboard) definitely do. Check your device settings again, specifically under a menu labeled "Language and input".
