With the influx of social media and messaging apps across all platforms, it is now easy to keep in touch with your friends and family as well as meet new people from all over the world. And as your network grows, it is unavoidable to meet people you wish you didn't add to your friends list. When this happens, deleting them from your friends list might not be enough. If you're using Kik and you want to block people from your account, here's how to do it:
1. On the main page of your Kik account, tap Settings which is represented by a small cog wheel found at the upper right corner of your screen.
2. On the Settings page, tap Chat Settings.
3. After that, tap Block List in order to start the process of blocking some people from your account.
4. Once you are on the Block List page, type the name of the person or user you want to block on Kik.
5. After his or her profile appears on the search results, tap it and a pop-up box will appear asking you to Block or Cancel. Tap Block to finalize the step. You can view the people you blocked on your Block list. If you decided to unblock the person, just tap the profile of the person and tap Unblock to restore them on your Friends list.
