Hello!

I am hoping someone here can help me. I am trying to do something that I think should be relatively simple, but I keep running into walls. All I want to do is burn a playlist onto a CD from my laptop that will be editable after I burn it. For example, if I want to add more songs to the CD after it is already burned.

Is this possible? How do I do it?

Thank you in advance!
Savannah

You can do with with with a CD R/W, or with a trick that is done with normal CDs but I think either method would make the disk not readable on a normal CD player.

Where are you planning on playing this disk? What format are these files? Standard CD format or some compressed digital format like MP3?

If you burn the disc on a CDR so it is compatible with a standard CD player, it can't be changed.
If you burn mp3 tracks to a blank CDR as a data disc you would be able to add tracks but not remove tracks.
If you use CDR-W blanks then you would burn a standard red book CD. To make changes you would have to start from scratch and burn a completely new CD though.
