Uber users are expected to tip their drivers. If you've been using Uber for quite some time and wondering whether you can change the amount of the standard 20% tip, you can and here's how to do it.
1. To change the amount of your gratuity, you have to log in first to your account at the Uber website using your computer. You have to log in as a rider.
2. On the main page of your Uber account, click "Payment" found at the left side corner of the screen. In some cases, you can find the menu on top.
3. On the "Payment" page, scroll down and find the section "Gratuity for Taxi." This service only applies to Taxi for hires and not for Uber Black and other Uber rides.
4. Click the drop-down menu and set how much you want to tip. The amount ranges between 0% and 30%. After that, click "Save" to apply the changes.
