thats because it never actually scanned for anything that was an actual threat(which i knew of),only keygens and game cracks, the technology isnt there yet Kappa

Curious as to why you have keygens and game cracks on your system.

And "i used software coded by my friends to scan the pc"
Again...interesting.

I'm visualizing a veritable petri dish of virus and malware.

LOL - OP has gone from "I never having (viruses) problems" to "I always have problems after I delete them"

Let us put it this way for you Cvancek, if you don't run an antivirus the odds are fairly good that you have several dozen viri installed simply from your cracks and keygens.

Format your drive and Reinstall windows and drivers; then you can start updating and when its done you can make yourself an image file. Don't just update once but keep clicking "Check for updates" until it comes back with none. It should take about half a day just for those. This image can be used to prevent you from re-downloading all those updates. You just reinstall the image and "poof" a nearly fully updated pc ready to use in only 15 minutes or so.

I have to agree with the original post about not using anti-virus. I have worked in the IT field for over 25 years and I have never come across any anti-virus software that can 100% guarantee that they will stop a virus. Why is it that no anti-virus software has the wording "We Guarantee" because they can't.

Nearly every computer that comes into my shop does so to have a virus or spyware removed and all of them have got anti-virus installed and they still get infected, so all anti-virus programs are worthless.

Just to add, I don't run anti-virus I use a hardware firewall and that will stop anything.

Every house that gets broken into also has a front door lock. Therefore, all front door locks are worthless.

And you don't bother with a lock on your front door, because your house is surrounded by a 10' wall, topped with razor wire, then a 15' deep moat filled with crocodiles and piranha.
