How to clear CMOS of Toshiba Satellite l745

i have a toshiba l745 laptop. I want to clear cmos. can anyone tell me how to do it?

We don't advise on password hacking here in case we help someone is trying to access another person's system. The same applies to CMOS resets because that's sometimes considered to be a way of bypassing a BIOS password, even though it doesn't often work.

If you take it to a professional and provide proof of ownership, they might be able to help. Toshiba's service agents will charge you £165.00 in the UK.

Take out CMOS battery and voila. Or refer to your mobo manual for the switch/circuit reset.

Doesn't work anymore with modern laptops. The password is stored in Flash memory which does not need power to store data.
