How to connect 2 laptops

Hello,
i have 2 laptops and one of my monitors and monitor input is broken (dell ) .. is there anything to do to make me be able to see my screen on the broken one (dell) on my new one (gateway)

1 computer= itselft
2nd computer= itself
1st and second= NOTHING. you can't combine two computers to serve one thing because 1 can't do what the other can. you would have to take the laptop to a computer shop and have them change out the part so it would work.
