How to connect a portable DVD player to wifi

How to connect a portable bluray DVD player to wifi .my son has been trying to find any way to get onto social media sites. I am waiting to know if it's possible for him to do that .if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it

It's not clear what you're trying to accomplish. Do you want the DVD player to play a disk on a TV or monitor? Or, are you trying to set up a computer to browse social media sites? Or, etc?

If I understand you correctly, then it's not possible. Your portable player doesn't have any built in wifi and probably not even any network card.
It's a DVD/BR player and nothing more. If he wants to access the internet then give him a computer, Tablet, Chromebook or whatever you like.

Unless this is some very special DVD player, it can't do social media.

As already mentioned, a computer, a laptop, a tablet, a smartphone. Those are your choices.

We know smart TVs can connect. Maybe this is a smart portable DVD player? Is there such a thing?
