How to connect a Samsung TV UE40MU6100 to an old Sanyo VCR

The VCR has round ports the TV oblong ports

The oblong ports are HDMI inputs for digital video and audio. VCRs have round RCA analog video and audio outputs
There is a yellow AV input that requires an adapter which may be in the box. Check page 18 of the e-manual for that TV.

This is for playback. You can't record from the TV. If you have an external source with an AV output you can connect that to the VCR AV input directly.
