How to connect a USB to a projector which only has an HDMI slot?

Hi,

I have a projector which has a HDMI slot for input. The projector comes with a USB output slot (which I misunderstood to be a USB input slot). And now I need to figure out a way to play content via a flash drive in this projector. Is it possible?

Buy a Roku, Western Digital Media Player or any of the 10,000 models of Android media boxes on the market. Then you can plug the USB drive into one of these boxes.
