How to connect in-wall speakers to monitor?

Hello people,

Just moved into an apartment with two built-in speakers in the living room. This is what is mounted in the wall:

We have a computer monitor (Asus) we use as a TV... How can we connect those in-wall speakers to the monitor, preferably without having to buy a receiver? What kind of cable do we need?

You cannot connect those speakers to a monitor. They require some kind of amplifier to drive them. You would connect the amplifier to your source not the monitor. You don't need a receiver just something like this:
