How to connect mobile to wifi

i've been trying to connect in the internet on my gt s5233w samsung mobile, please help its' showing no response from AP

What sort of wireless router do you have, i.e. b,g, or n standard? I ask because on occasion, depending on the brand of the phone, a phone with a b or g wifi card will not connect to a newer n standard wireless router.
