Solved! How to connect older (but great) speakers (2) to newer LED TV?

How can I connect older speakers w/red & white wires to newer LED TV (Samsung UN55H6300A) with IR out, Audio Out, component a/v jacks, digital audio out (optical)?

I really hope there is a way to do this since we all know that the speakers on LED TVs leave a lot to be desired.

Passive speakers require an external amp or receiver.
Your TV has an 3.5mm stereo audio output so you can use that with any amplifier.
If the output is variable you can use the TV remote. If it's fixed you will want remote volume in the amp.
