How to connect the Sonos sound bar to my sharp aquos lc65d64u tv

At the back of your TV, plug the optical cable to optical out and the other end to your soundbar. If soundbar and TV has both HDMI, you can use that too.

Sonos said to plug into the digital audio output port on tv.

Optical audio is the digital audio port. Check the TV manual on how to turn it on. You may have to turn the TV speakers off too.
