how do I connect my harwa flat screen tv to my hp laptop and my sony dvd player ? I want to use my dvds spekers ,,I did get It rite to play laptop to tv bud the sound is stil from tv,,, how do I get it to play thow dvd ??

What you are calling a "DVD" sounds like a Home Theater in a Box that has the DVD in it. If that has an external audio input you should be able to connect it to the PC but how would depend on what connections you have on the PC and HTiB. You could use that input to connect to the audio out on the TV.
