I have several dvd and avi or mkv movies without subtitles. Those are old movies that I couldn’t find srt subs for them. So i’m wondering if there is an application that can use the movie audio converting into subtitles.

I found this place that claims upload video , it make subtitles you edit if needed and save a nd good to go, claims are one thing maybe you need to test it.
Thinking about my original question:
What about a take notes application? One that can convert voice to text? Do you know one that can run on Windows PC at the same time with VLC grabbing the audio > text, able to generate long files?
Capturing the text like that we just need to format it and synch with the movie, using for instance SubtitleSync and/or Subtitle Edit?
I think you should try one of these web sites, I use them all the time when I convert a DVD to MP4 for my daughter. So I dont have to worry about subtitles being converted as well.
Yes Paladin, I know them, but for instance, looking for subtitles for the movie Doctor Mordrid (1993) I found just one in opensubtitles that is rubbishy. So I decided to find a way to capture movie talking and convert to text and them, hopefully, to subs.
