How to enable left-click on acer laptop

My left clickbutton on my acer lap top has suddenly stopped working. can anyone help me enable it?

A while back my right click stopped working, I googled how to enable it & now all out of the blue the left click has been disabled, aaaarghhh!

Go to the control panel, Mouse, check in there, can click on Restore Defaults.
Will probably need to use an external mouse since you can't left click. Or use the touchpad click.

Thanks - I think its sorted now, its possible that its a hardware problem because shortly after I posted it started working again. Thx anyhow
