How to Ensure All HDD/SSD Are Virus Free?

I will be reusing my SSDs and HDD on my new build. I will do a clean install of OS but how do I know my other SSDs and HDD are clean?

download AVG Rescue CD, burn it to a disk or flash drive, hook up the drive(s) in question, and boot to the disk/flash drive. The menus are rather user friendly and the options are easy to understand, I think you'll figure it out.
