How to find a compatible ram for my laptop.My laptop model is HP G6 -1318ax.

I have 2 GB of stock ram currently and want/wished to add 2 GB of more.

Any laptop memory ( SODIMM ) will work if its the same speed ( 1333 MHz DDR3 ) and the same size ( 2GB )

1 more question.Can i upgrade 1 GB of memory.Or i can only upgrade to 2 GB of memory.as there are two slots in my laptop.

It would be much more easier and much more stable if you upgrade to 2 GB. With 1GB of ram there could be some problems with performance and stability
