How to fix a blank tv screen

So today my TV just stopped working. I can put it on and the light will go blue (to indicate that its on) and I can hear the tv but the screen is just black. I can hardly see the pictures on screen its VERY dim. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Assuming that your TV is LCD it sounds like the light which illuminates the panel is dead. Check with www.shopjimmy.com and see if there is a module you can replace.
