HOW TO FIX SCREEN TEARING On ACER ASPIRE E15

Only 5 days ago i received my brand new acer aspire e15-575g-53vg it was running games perfectly fine until earlier tonight when all of my games experienced screen tearing issues, a horizontal slightly diagonal line in the middle of the screen. This problem is confusing me because it is happening on games that i have been running perfectly up until this point. I was wondering if i should exchange the laptop for a new one, or if there was a way to fix the problem without going through the return process. Its a 1080p screen with a nvidia geforce 960mx graphics card. Please help asap
