How to get 5.1 out of Logitech z506 and Toshiba TV 49L621U?

Hi,

I have currently connected the aux (3.5mm) out from z506 to my TV.

But if I do not connect the RCA, a static sound is coming out. Even if I connect RCA, it doesn't give a 5.1 out.
Do I need a RCA to aux converter or what needs to be done to get a 5.1 sound?
Or will buying this help it?

The amazon link you posted just provides stereo sound

problem is that your 5.1 speaker set does not support digital inputs, you will need to get e.g.
