Solved! How to get Surroundnsound over red and white out of HDMI

I have a Kentwood surround receiver with RCA inputs i would like to use HDMI audio extractor to extract the surround audio to Optical and then convert that into RCA the problem is all the converters only output 2-channel stereo

You cannot get surround over RCA red/white connection, unless your receiver has discrete surround inputs (total of six).

WHy you'd need HDMI extractor? It is much easier to get the signal from the source.
