How to hook up 2 DVC Kicker CompVR Subs with different ohms??

One sub is 2ohm and the other is 4ohm both stable at 1,2 and 4 ohms. I have a 2 channel Rockford Fosgate amp that is 2 and 4 ohm stable with paired subs but 1 ohm stable only with 1 sub. I'm trying to figure out how to wire it up for the best premium sound possible.

What do you mean "stable at 1,2,and 4 ohms"?

Anyway....the way I read this...you can put one sub on one channel and one on the other. The problem you might run into would be that one would be way louder than the other one.

This would be due to two things. Efficiency of the sub....and the fact that you have different impedance on each sub.

Check the specs on the amp. If an amp is stable to 2 ohms in stereo that usually means that it's only stable to 4 ohms when bridged to mono.
To max out the power I would suggest connecting one vc of the 2ohm woofer to one channel and both vc of the other in parallel to the other channel. That way each channel would see 2 ohms.
