What is the exact model of the laptop? Are you sure it has a SIM card reader/slot?

Are you talking about a SD card or a SIM card. Sim cards the the card used by phone that have your account information and are needed to make your At&T and Tmobile phones work. SD are memory chips. Usually if you have a Micro SD you need an adapter to put into the slot. I think you ment to say a SD reader not Sim. But if your laptop has one it should be easy to find. Usually you have to pop a plastic piece out and stick the card in.
