How to Install a Web Browser on the Amazon Fire Stick

Amazon Fire Stick has an extensive and wide range of features. Features like voice search and parental controls are widely appreciated. One of the highly spoken features is the ability of the Amazon Firestick to allow the installation of any web browser by the user on the device. Here is how you install and use the web browser on the Amazon Fire Stick.

Step 1
On the Amazon Fire TV, the user will have to hover through the ‘search bar’ to type in the keyword to get navigated.

Now, the user can search with the keyword ‘Downloader’ to install the downloader app with the help of which the user can download the necessary applications for the Amazon Fire Stick.

As seen below, the user will find the downloader in the app &games section. You need to select the ‘Downloader’ option to download and install it.

The user then needs to select ‘Download’ option to download and later press the ‘Install’ option to start the installation of the downloader.

Here the user will have to enter the URL of the file which they want to be downloaded. One has to enter the complete URL of the file to be downloaded to the Amazon Fire Stick. So, to use the web browser on the device, the user has to enter the URL of the browser’s APK file to download the browser. The user can download any web browser like chrome, opera or firefox and enter their corresponding URL of the APK files to download the respective web browsers.

Step 5
Now the user has to press ‘Install’ option to install the chrome browser in this case. So, once the user presses install, the installation of the browser is done, and the user can start using the browser as similar to the normal web version.
