How to Keep Important Items at the Top of Google Inbox

With the new Google Inbox, it is easy to sort and label your emails so that you can easily find them, or get rid of them. However, with bundles, it can sometimes be difficult to find an email that requires a follow up. Additionally, when you have read an email, it often falls to the bottom of the list, increasing the risk that you might overlook it. To keep important items at the top of your Google Inbox, follow these simple steps:

Step 1:
Open the important email in your Inbox or bundle. Look for the Pin button, which has replaced the star button from the previous Gmail inboxes.

Step 2:
Press the pin button. This marks it as an important email that you need to keep in your inbox. You can also select multiple messages to pin at one time. This will also keep an email in your inbox that is also part of a bundle.

Step 3:
When you are done with your important email, simply press the check mark button, which means that it is done. The email remains in your email account, but will no longer be marked as a priority.
