HOW TO MAKE 2.1 ALL IN ONE SPEAKER BOX for PC And DJ CONTROLLER

Hi,
I'm looking to make a single box (about 3ft long and 1.5ft wide and 1.5ft high) to sit on the floor. It will contain 1 mid/treble speaker on each side of a fairly small subwoofer.
I know this will involve an amplifier!
The purpose is to connect to my PC for use with my DJ controller - Hercules DJ Control Air.
I just want better sound quality than my current 2.1 Logitech speakers provide with a lot less distortion at higher volumes!
I am no electronics buff so need some serious input to make this project work. I know the aesthetics and how I want it to look but I am ignorant about the tech side of things....

Get better 2.1 speakers, put them in a box. You don't really list a lot of details about what you have (current 2.1 Logitech speakers is not really saying anything) or exactly what you want and for what use. Are you going to play the sound in a small room, large room, outside, other noise in the room, quiet room, for parties, etc..?

you need some basic tools, common sense and some basic electrical skills to complete. keep in mind that just because you make a box does not mean it will sound good - speaker enclosure design can affect sound quite a bit. you may need to experiment.

if you want something quick and easy, just buy a premade product which you know is going to work well.

"Small woofer" is an oxymoron.

While it is possible to build a speaker that won't be torn the first time you try using it as a woofer, if it works at all, it will only work at low volume for a short time, and I doubt you will be satisfied with its top performance.

It is possible to create a woofer effect with an array of high frequency speakers, and that would provide the effect you want, but I don't know how to do that. (at least now without researching how to design the circuit).

In that situation, you want to have very loud, ultra high frequency (above human hearing range) output from the speakers that will be highly focused in a narrow ultrasound beam. The method would "manufacture" sound at the nodes where two ultrasonic beams intersect, and interfere with each other.

I imagine it would be possible to design baffles in such a way that these nodes are multiplied and distributed throughout the room (I'm sure that's how commercially available sound sticks produce deep bass). It might be more practical to build an object that will vibrate in sympathy with the interference patterns to project real low frequency sound. As I consider how that might be done, I find myself imagining a big round disk with circular grooves cut to 1/4 wavelength...
