how to make recovery from a crashed Satellite L755-S5244

My laptop wont start and showing error that in startup COMCTL32.dll is missing. I tried everything to start from safe mode and all but no effect
.If I cant recover the data, at least tell me how to reformat the laptop myself

I tried Bad_kitty's suggestion. At the end I got a message status: 0Xc000000f
Info: the boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible

try it one more time make sure that it stays plugged in no matter what and just leave it sit. it will take a while

yeah i had to do it a few times myself to my wifes its frustrating but at least you saved the money of having to get a new laptop
