If the button does not work, look on the face of the drive for a pinhole. Un-bend a paperclip and insert it straight into this pinhole. That should open the drive.
No guys, just apply a small thermite detonation charge to the outer casing of the laptop/pc, then pass an electrical current through it, and Boom (excuse the pun) you're in.
