Solved! How to put a hard drive off of one dell into another dell

I have a dell inspiron9400 I spilled drink on burnt up hard drive I took a hard drive out of another dell and instilled it. It register the hard drive but won't install? ?

You need to reinstall Windows or whatever OS you are using. What does it say that it won't install?
