How to RESET password on my Acer laptop?

hello, i have an Acer Aspire laptop i bought in 2010 and just booted it up to realize i don't remember the password. NO, i did not create a password recovery disc. How do i get into this thing? HELP!

(One) we are not allowed to help you hack passwords on this forum
(the moderators get angry if we help anyone:- either genuine owners or a thief)

(two) do you mean the windows login password (easy to bypass)

or (three) BIOS power on password or Hard disk power on password
(much more difficult or almost impossible to bypass)

In any case go to a computer professional with proof of ownership and ask them to help you
