How to reset Your Samsung Smart TV PIN

The Samsung Smart TV presents the users with a convenient way to watch online content from multiple platforms through an internet connection. With a user-friendly menu, the Smart TV enables users to maximize their entertainment quotient. But if you forget your Samsung Smart TV PIN, here is a step by step guide to help you reset it.
1. Press the Menu Button
Locate the Menu button on your remote control and press it to view the Settings menu.
When you press the Menu button, a selection panel will appear on your TV Screen with all settings related options.

2. Choose the General Option in the System Settings
Use the navigation keys to select the System option in the Settings menu and then press the Enter button. Now use the navigation keys again to toggle and select the General option, and then press the Enter key.
When you select this option, this will help you access Samsung Instant on Settings.

3. Turn OFF Samsung Instant ON feature
Use the navigation keys to highlight the Samsung Instant ON option and change the setting to OFF.
If your TV does not have this option or the option is already selected to OFF mode, then proceed to the next step.

4. Start the Reset Procedure
Now, change your Smart TV mode to Standby mode and wait for thirty seconds to ensure that it is off. When thirty seconds have passed, punch in the following keys quickly: Mute>8>2>4>Power
This will reset your Smart TV PIN to the default value of 0000. Now you can access your Smart TV conveniently and also choose to set a new PIN of your preference.
In case, if your Smart TV is turned on before you have punched in the code, you will need to restart the process.

5. Turn on the Samsung Instant On Feature
After you complete the procedure of resetting the password, if you had previously turned off the Samsung Instant feature, you must now turn it back on.
Turn on your TV, press the Menu button, then select the General option from within the system menu. Then press the Samsung Instant option and change it back to ON.

It is necessary to set a unique PIN to control the access to your Smart TV, but it would be an excellent option to keep the PIN noted somewhere else separately to avoid any hassles.
