How to Set Up 1-Click Payment on a Kindle E-Reader

The Kindle is an e-reader created and sold by Amazon that allows users to carry hundreds of books with them wherever they want, all stored on one device. They also come with the ability to hook up to the Internet so that you can browse the Amazon store for new books to add without ever having to go on your computer.

To do this easily and efficiently you can use the one-click payment method, which on any second generation Kindle device should be automatically in place once synced with your Amazon account. If you need to change your payment information for this feature that can also easily be done.

Step 1
The first thing you will have to do is go onto your computer and go to the Kindle sign in page, http://amazon.com/manageyourkindle. Log in using your Amazon account information. You should now be on the “Manage Your Kindle” page.

Step 2
On this page you will see three tabs: “Your Content,” “Your Devices,” and “Your Settings.” Go the settings tab. Here you will see your payment settings, including the information of the card you have on file. To edit this information, click the “Edit Payment Method” button.

Step 3
Once on this page you will be able to choose from any cards you may have on file or enter information for a new one. Pick your payment option and hit the small yellow “Continue” button on the right side of the page. Now you can fill in your billing address. Once done hit “Continue” again and you’re done.
