how to switch from us cellular to another provider

Hi I just bought a Samsung galaxy s5 that is a US CELLULAR PHONE . It is supposed to be unlocked but it won't take my t-mobile sim. Is there a different carrier I can use because we don't even get US CELLULAR SERVICE WHERE I LIVE

US Cellular uses the CDMA network, which is incompatible with T-Mobile which makes use of GSM. I am unsure if it's possible to bring that phone over; you may want to contact T-Mobile and see what they say about it.
